The UK Defence Secretary announced yesterday an investment of £40 million to improve the defence of the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet sustaining over 100 British jobs.The contract, announced at today’s Airpower Conference in London, has been awarded to UK-based company Leonardo and will upgrade the aircraft’s Defensive Aids Sub System (DASS).
