The U.S. Navy commissioned its newest guided-missile destroyer, the USS John Finn (DDG 113), during a ceremony Saturday, July 15, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. USS John Finn is the 63rd Arleigh Burke (DDG 51) class destroyer and the first of the DDG 51 Flight IIA restart ships. The "restart" ships are similar to previous Flight IIA ships, but include modernization features such as Open Architecture Computing Environment.
